James Smith
Dies at Age 41
Rites Tuesday

Services for James V. Smith, Sr., 41, of 2912 Bella vista, who died Sunday after a short illness, will be at 2 pm Tuesday in Midwest City Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Cemetery, Paylor's Midwest City Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Smith was born at Colby, Kan., and came to Oklahoma City in 1954 from Denver. He was an engineer at Tinker Air Force Base.

He was veteran_, of World War II, and held the rank of major in the reserves. Smith was a 32nd degree Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Craddock; two sons, James V. jr., 10, and Randy, 7;three daughters, Claudia, 8, Debra, 4,.and Juanita Catherine, 3, all of the home; mother, Catherine. Denver; two sisters. Donna Jones, San Francisco, and Maryon Cummins, Washington, D.C., and two brothers, Tom, Grand Junction, Colo., and Wilbur, Denver.

The family prefers friends wishing to make memorial contributions do so with donations to the Midwest City Presbyterian Church.
