xxxxx Retired Master Sergeant Dies In Hospital Here

Harry B. Fletcher, who retired from the airforce June 1 as a master sergeant after 22 years of military service, died Thursday afternoon at Veterans hospital He had been in poor health three years, and was admitted to the hospital July 1. Fletcher was 45 and lived at 313 Jarman drive, Midwest City. He had 'been stationed at Tinker airforce base about 3 1/2 years before his retirement. He saw duty overseas during World war II and also spent considerable time at the United States military academy at West Point. His original enlistment was in the army, but he later transferred to the airforce. He was born July 3, 1909, in Bonham, Texas.

Surviving are his wife, Lillian,, and two children, Gail and Harry, of the home; his mother, Mrs. E. E. Fletcher, Dodd City, Texas, three brothers, Guy, of Bonham, Glenn, of Houston, and J. J, of Pans, Texas, and a sister, Mrs. Curtis Pennington, Lawton. Services will be at 4 p. m. Saturday in the Smith & Kernke funeral chapel. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Park cemetery, Midwest City.
