Leroy Gilmore, 64, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born December 29, 1944 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Clayton and Ethel (Ellis) Gilmore. Leroy retired from Gulfstream Aerospace in 2008.

He is survived by his wife, Cherie Gilmore two sons, Donnie Gilmore and Ronnie Gilmore of OKC two daughters, Gina Pena of Moore and Wendy Shingleton and husband Tony of Palisade, CO one brother, Sam Gilmore and wife Beverly of OKC two sisters, Ona Mae Woolard and husband Jack of Fort Cobb, OK and Josie Hock of Moore and five grandchildren, Cody, Tyler, Wesley, Ty and Fisher.

He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Dwayne Gilmore.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 26, 2009 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
