Harold (Dick) Nichols was born February 15, 1925 in Amarillo, Texas to Adaniga Nichols and Myrtle (Stewart) Nichols . He passed away November 28, 2003 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dick served proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He was very proud of his service to the country and enjoyed sharing stories about it with his grandchildren. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved them all very much. Dick also loved watching the OKC Blazers, Dallas Cowboys and visiting and playing with his children and grandchildren.

Dick was preceded in death by his father and mother, son Harold and grandson Shane.

Also preceding him in death are his brothers; Roy, John, Sam, Joe, Gene and Dolly; sisters; Faye, Elsie, MaryAnn, Bonnie and Ruby. He is survived by, wife Margaret and grandson Brian of the home; daughter in law, Lavina; daughter Pat and husband Mack; son Curtis and wife Sheila; son Jack and wife Teresa; ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; brother Pete; sister Gladys and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 2:00 pm, December 1, 2003 at the Baggerley-South Chapel with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
