FRED BAKER

Fred Baker, 78, of 3817 N Meridian, died Tuesday in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bill Merritt Funeral Service.

Baker was born in Walcott, Kan., and had lived in Oklahoma City since 1929. A retired interior decorator, he was a Mason and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include a son, W.R., of the home; a grandson, William R. jr., with the U.S. Air Force in Alaska, and a brother, Roy, Kansas City, Kan.
