Henry Doyle Fennell passed away peacefully on March 8, 2009 at the age of 81 in the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Norman. He was born on January 5, 1928 in Westover, TX to Walter R. and Sylvia Fennell . When Henry was 17, he joined the Air Force, in which he served 20 years. During the beginning of his military career, he married the love of his life, Betty Geneva Perkins. They retired, and he began his career at Tinker Air Force Base, where he was a supervisor.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Betty of 53 years; 3 brothers, Walter Jr., Alfred and Arnold; and 1 grandchild, Bryan Alan Wagner.

He is survived by 9 children: Joan and Brent Grimes, Steven and Paula Fennell , Mary and Jess VanBrunt, Debbie and Robin Hubbard, Walter and Cindy Fennell , David and Pam Fennell , Teresa and Darrell Becker, Robert Fennell , and Patty and Ben Wagner; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Fennell ; sisters, Patsy Drake and Mary Glass; and numerous other family and friends. We would like to give a special thanks to all the staff and supporting staff at the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Norman. Services will be held 11 AM, Friday, March 13, 2009 at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Kolb Cemetery, Spencer, OK.
