Steven Victor Blackstock was born March 26, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia and died March 13, 2005 in Hermiston, Oregon. Steve grew up in Midwest City and graduated from Midwest City High School.

He was predeceased by his father, Norman Jean Blackstock; grandfather, Jack Jones; grandmother, Margo Bunch; and uncle, Donald Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Kay of Oregon; stepdaughter, Barbara of Oregon; sons, Bryan Blackstock and Brad Blackstock of Midwest City; 6 grandchildren; mother and father, Betty and Robert Jackson of Midwest City; brother, Mickey Blackstock of Midwest City; 6 sisters, Sandra (Sweety) Kellum of Georgia; Jean Goolsby of Florida; Diane Nichols of Oklahoma City; Margaret Linker of McLoud; Tammy Burchardt of Midwest City; and Melissa Pharis of Missouri; aunts, Margie Crow of Tulsa and Vondela Jones of Blanchard; uncle, Bobby Asbell of Edmond; tons of cousins, nieces and nephews. Service to honor Steve's life will be held at the Soldier Creek Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall, 9020 Southeast 15th Street, Midwest City, Friday, March 18th at 7:00 p.m.
