Jeremy Gene Blackstock , loving son, brother, daddy and nephew, was unexpectedly taken from us on Friday, September 4, 2009, at age 34. Jeremy was born on August 24, 1975 in Midwest City. He attended Country Estates Elementary, Monroney Jr. High and graduated from Midwest City High School in 1993. He was a member of Soldier Creek Baptist Church. He had a passion for music. He took after his Grandmother Snell with handwriting and artistic talents. He was a friend of Bill and a member at the "Old Homestead," and he loved all who knew him. Jeremy was a participant at the Jesus House and loved to help anytime they needed him.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Jack Snell; and Uncle, Steven Blackstock . Jeremy is survived by his parents, Mickey and Debbie Blackstock ; a sister, Amy Cherry and her husband, Roland; however, his pride and joy were his sons, Hunter Gene, Ethan Jacob, and Elijah Jack; Maternal Grandmother, Dorothy Snell; Paternal Grandparents, Robert and Betty Jackson; all of Midwest City; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Jesus House. The family will be available for visitation at the funeral home Tuesday, September 8th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Soldier Creek Baptist Church, 9020 Southeast 15th Street, Midwest City, with burial at Arlington Memory Gardens.
