Katharina Renee "Kat" Madrid , age 37, of Midwest City, passed away August 18, 2010. She was born July 18, 1973, in OKC. Kat had worked for the Oklahoma Tax Commission. She was also a licensed cosmetologist. Kat enjoyed roller derby and had played for the Red Dirt Rebellion Rollergirls.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Zoe Madrid and Aundrea Madrid Green, both of MWC; her parents, Reymundo & Mary Madrid, of MWC; 2 brothers: Reymundo Madrid , Jr. and Jason Madrid , both of OKC; sister, Shana Smith & husband Kevin, of MWC; 1 niece; 2 nephews; & best friends, Trudy Hibbert and Earnest Green;

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 23, 2010, at Little Flower Catholic Church, 1125 S. Walker Ave., OKC, under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM, Sunday, August 22, 2010, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel.
