Leland L. Fox,
79, of Nicoma Park passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2031. Leland was born May 27,
1922 in Shreveport, LA to Earl and Addie Wade Fox. Mr. Fox married Thelma Louise
Calvert, Oct. 4, 1942 in Braggs, OK. Mr. Fox was very active in the Masonic
Lodge and was a 33rd Degree Mason and a member of Nicoma Park Lodge #541. Leland
loved the People of Nicoma Park where he was serving his seventh term as mayor.
He will probably be best remembered for how he loved and helped other people. He
served his country during World War 11, and later retired from the United States
Air Force at the rank of Master Sergeant.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Louise of the home; sons. Sam Fox and
wife Susan of Edmond, Blue Fox and wife Rosemary of Nicoma Park; daughter, Linda
Walling of Nicoma Park. He had 7 beloved grandchildren: Jeff Walling and wife
Cindy, Stephanie Masoner and husband Dennis, David Fox and wife Paula, Amy
Groeschel and husband Craig, Sean Fox and wife Mary, Stacie Hill, and Nikki
Carwile and husband James. "Papaw' also had 14 great grandchildren... Funeral
services will be held at 2pm Friday, August 331, 2001 at the First Baptist
Church of Nicoma Park with interment at Arlington Memory Gardens. Bill

Louise Fox, 77, went to
be with the Lord February 26, 2002, in Midwest city, OK. She was born October 8,
1924m in Braggs, Oklahoma to Floyd Calvert and Eliza Hammer. Her life is best
described in Proverbs 31, she attended the Jesus Name Church in Braggs, OK, and
was a member of the Eastern Star in Nicoma Park, OK. She was a ceramic teacher
for 30 years and enjoyed gardening and cooking.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Linda Walling of Nicoma Park; 2 sons, Sam Fox and
wife Susan of Edmond; Blue Fox. and wife, Rosemary of Nicoma Park. 8 grand
children, 17 great - grandchildren and 1 brother Floyd Calvert, Jr.
She is proceeded in death by her
husband, Leland Fox, parents Floyd & Eliza Calvert....
Services will be held at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, with interment at
Arlington Memory Gardens.
