Yates Robert Taylor, 77, of Choctaw, passed away Feb. 11, 1987 in MWC Hospital. Born May 13, 1909 in Nash, Ok. He was retired from the MWC Utilities Dept., member of the First Baptist Church, Jones.

Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marguerite; 1 daughter, Yvonne Williams of Jones, and 8 sons, Richard, Kenneth, Donald and Wesley of Choctaw, Robert, Delbert and Jerry of Jones, and Jack of Southhaven Ms.; 2 brothers, E. Knox Taylor of Mustang and Worth Taylor of Pismo Beach, Ca.; 2 sisters, Audrey Sheckles of MWC and Hortense Taylor of OKC; 22 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, Sherwood Taylor.

Service 10am Sat. Feb. 14, 1987 at the First Baptist Church of Jones with burial at Kolb Cemetery. Directed by Bill Eisenhour Northeast.
