Evert B. Shadoan, age 87, passed away on April 25, 2004. He was born on October 18, 1916 in a tent in Norge, OK to Ressie and Edward Shadoan. Evert was a member of the Choctaw United Methodist Church; the Methodist Men and the Masonic Lodge. He retired from Tinker AFB with 36 years of Civil Service.

Evert is survived by his wife of 67 plus years, Esther of the home; his son; John of OKC; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother: Ralph Shadoan of Choctaw ; one sister: La Verna Sue Machut of Murrieto, CA; and many nieces and nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother: Samuel Shadoan; his two daughters: Mary Jo Anna Rutledge and Esta Lynn Ridgeley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 1, 2004 at Choctaw United Methodist Church. Graveside service will follow with burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw , OK under the direction of Bill Eisenhour NE Funeral Home.
