Self, Helen Doris (Sanders)

Helen Doris Self, 77, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born October 25, 1931 in Sarcoxie, Missouri to Clayton and Eva (Donier) Sanders. Helen enjoyed dancing and spending time outdoors. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be missed by all.

Helen is survived by her husband, David of the home five daughters, Sandy Cunningham and husband Kim, Sherry Garrison and husband Rod, Sheila Hunnicutt and husband Richard, Vickie Napier and husband Chris, and Debbie Ashworth and husband Mark all of OKC one brother, Ronal Sanders and wife Loretta of Joplin, MO two sisters, Deanna Sanders of Joplin, MO and Gwendola Slater and husband Jim of Duenweg, MO and all of her "babies," eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held 2:00 P.M. Friday, Jan. 23, 2009 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
