Mrs. A. Genola Scott, age 81, of Plano, Texas passed away March 16, 2001 at Medical Center of Plano. She was born on March 29, 1919 to Riley Curtis and Jenny (Cassel) Alford in Many, Louisiana. She married William Irvin Scott on November 19, 1955. She was a child day care provider and of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Scott is survived by her son, Bill Scott and wife, Cindy and grandsons, Billy and Bobby Scott all of Plano, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Scott; son, Edgar Kirkpatrick ; sister, Lowrese Brown; brother, Burnace Alford.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2001, at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with Bob Winslow officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at the funeral home.
