Wilson Hand, Chemical Firm Owner, Dead

Services for Wilson Denton Hand, 1129 Lombardy Rd., who died Friday in Wesley Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 4400 N. Shartel, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Services are under direction of Street & Draper Funeral Home.

Hand, a native of Stillwater, was owner and operator of Hand Chemical Company. He had lived in Oklahoma City 25 years and was active in the Westminster Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder.

Hand was a graduate of Stillwater High School and attended both Wentworth Military Academy in Missouri and the University of Oklahoma, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma social fraternity. He was a veteran of World War II, and Uptown Kiwanis Club.

Surviving is his wife, Margaret, of the home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday. The family requests that persons wishing to make memorial contributions do so with donations to either the Westminster Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or the cancer division of Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
