William A. "Bill" Coker, born April 11, 1929, in Okemah, OK to Sherman Monroe Coker and Vida Rhae Ward, left this world on Aug. 13, 2007. 

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; sisters, Joyce and Helen; and brother, James. 

He is survived by his wife, Ruby; four daughters, Janice, Shirley, Vida, and Billie and their husbands; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and brother, Melvin and his wife Sue Jean. Bill worked as a local driver for W.H. Butcher Packing Company for 34 years before retiring to enjoy traveling, camping and fishing with the love of his life, his wife of 60 years. Known by his grandchildren as "Grandpa Dude", he was a man who lived his life with simple dignity, honesty and pride. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. 

Funeral services will be held at Bill Eisenhour NE Funeral Home Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Choctaw, OK.
