FIRST NATIONAL BANK

The first bank was erected and opened for business in 1904, with Mr. Quigley as its first president.  In 1905 it became First National Bank of Owasso, with $25,000 in capital.  In 1906 a brick structure was built to house the bank.   Later C.E. Dickson became president.

It is unclear when the bank closed but we might imagine during the depression.  During the 1903's and 1940's this old bank building served as a Post Office.

During the 1950's the building was demolished to make way for progress.   The Southwestern Bell Telephone Company now occupies the location at Main & Broadway.
