The company left Camp Arbuckle, C.N. on the 17th and arrived at Fort near the crossing of Washita River near Wild Horse Creek on the 19th Apri11851. The post is (70) miles west of Fort Washita, C.N.

Capt. Marcy commanding Post Lt. .Myers on detached service making examination of the Washita River by instruction from Hdqrs of the Mil. Dept. Left Post April 25, 1851.

2nd Lt. Neilly, 4 noncoms and 22 privates of A & H Cos 5th Inf. arrived here on the 25th of May 1851. They are assigned temporarily to this post for the purpose of making a road to the Brazos River.

Capt. Marcy, 2nd Lt. Updegraff, 1 noncom and 11 privates of D Co and 3 noncoms and 17 privates of A & H Cos, 5th Inf. on detailed service from May 25 making a road to Brazos River.

Major Geo. Andrews, 7th Inf. with Cos G & H, 7th Inf. arrived at this post 11 inst. and assumed command on the 12th June 1851.
