Lawrence Thigpin, 87, of Pocola died Wednesday, Aug.
10, 2005, in Pocola. He was born May 1st.1918 in Peno, Okla.
Leflore County, Okla. At age 19, he marry On April 19,1938 to
Rena Mae (Martin) Thigpin,
He retired from Harding Glass as a glass cutter in Ft.Smith,
Ark.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rena Mae Thigpin died
1974. His parents Frank & Bessie Thigpin. Sibling, Millard
Thigpin, Mollie Driver, Newton Thigpin, Roy Thigpin, Eula
Thigpin, Lois Rice, Winfred Thigpin, George Thigpin.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at
Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial at
New Hope Cemetery in
Spiro under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
Ark.
Survived by one daughter, Betty Tomassetti of Fresh Meadows,
N.Y.; two sons Bob Thigpin of Las Vegas, Buck Thigpin of Pocola.
One sister, Elsie Brown of Springdale, one sister in law Jane
Thigpin of Ft. Smith, Six grandchildren, nine
great-grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
Several nieces and nephews.
