Rosa Belle Pyland, 66, of Poteau, passed away Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was born Dec. 13, 1937, at Tulsa. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Poteau and was an educator at the Head Start Program.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Troy Pyland of the home; children and their spouses, Kathy and Terry Tolbert and Todd and Christi Pyland, all of Broken Arrow, Paula and Robert Woods of Collierville, Tenn., Cheryl and Ronnie Nichols of Princeton, N.Y., Clarence and Betsy Hayes of Edmond and Paul and Beth Hayes of Ardmore.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9 at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Dale Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Pallbearers will be Robert Woods, Ronnie Nichols, Cody Shipman, Jeremy Duke, Shad Pyland and Terry Tolbert.
