Alta Masterson, 90, of Spiro, passed away Sunday, Sept.
5, 2004. She was born Feb. 22, 1914, in Oklahoma to Charles Ed
and Harriet (Lillard) Woods. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roscoe;
two brothers, Charles and Floyd Woods; and a sister,
Letha Young.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Jo Collins and husband,
A.M. of Spiro; one granddaughter, Lynn Miller and husband Edwin
of Spiro; two great-granddaughters, Kristi Miller and Stefany
Miller of Spiro; one great-great granddaughter, Laney Davis of
Spiro.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8 at the
Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wes McLaughlin
officiating. Burial will follow in
New Hope Cemetery at
Spiro under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Self, David Self, Danny Self, George
Strain, Tony Woods and Gary Woods.
