Rita Fisk, 86, of Poteau, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24,
2004. She was born April 13, 1918, in Cleveland, Ohio to
Clarence and Hortense (Crowe) Rist. She was a member of the
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Poteau, she worked in
the church's food pantry for many years and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Gerald Leroy
and Edward Frances Fisk; and a son-in-law, Delbert L. Morris.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Fisk and wife Christine and
Bill Fisk and wife Denise; three daughters, Mary Jo Morris,
Sherry Lee Fisk and Janice Caswell Johnson; 17 grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and
many more beloved family and friends.
Rosary services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27 at
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Poteau and Funeral Mass
will be held at 2 p.m. following the Rosary. Father Michael
Charles Vincent will be officiating. Interment will follow at
Oakland Cemetery
in Poteau under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of
Poteau.
