Bob Thompson

POTEAU — Bob G. Thompson, 78, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, in Fort Smith. He was born March 10, 1926, in Monroe. He was a self-employed businessman and a Navy veteran of World War II.

Funeral will be 1 pm Tuesday at Trinity Baptist Church in Poteau with burial at Monroe Cemetery in Monroe under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

He is survived by his wife, Dewanda; a daughter, Debbie Eacret of Fort Smith; a son, Robert Thompson of Tulsa; a sister, Nerrissia Skinner; a brother, Kenneth Thompson of Monroe; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bobby and Roger Mead, Monte and Jeff Shockley and Eddie and Larry Bayouth.
