PANAMA — The Rev. Glen Reece Richard of Panama died Thursday, June 24, 2004, in Panama. He was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Kingston, Okla. He was a licensed minister with the Pentecostal Church of God, a pastor in Muskogee, Fort Gibson, Wagoner, Tahlequah and Panama, Okla., worked for Muskogee Iron Works, the Spiro Rural Water Department and served in the Navy during World War II.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Panama First Assembly of God with burial at Shady Point Cemetery under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Glenda Newton of Poteau and Anita Potts of Panama; two sons, Kenneth Richard of Shady Point and Terry of Nubbin Ridge; a sister, Shirley Southerland of Kingston; a brother, Calvin Richard of Leflore; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Morris, Chaz Billingsley, Jimmy VanMeter,
Orville Hess, David Carson and David Webb.

The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
