Lavonn Pauline Minor, 12, of Hodgen, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2004, in Howe. She was a sixth grade student at Heavener Elementary School and a member of the Heavener First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Leanease and Gary Smith of Hodgen; her father and stepmother, Larry and Janet Minor of Heavener; three sisters, Toska and Heather Poor, both of Heavener, and Shirley Minor of Heavener; one stepsister, Dawnetta Sharp of Heavener; three brothers, Levi and Dustin Poor, both of Hodgen, and Larry Minor Jr. of Heavener; one stepbrother, Jeremy Morrison of Heavener; maternal grandparents, Lavonna Hardin and Donald Watts, both of Heavener; paternal grandmother, Blanche Luman of Heavener; maternal great-grandmothers, Dessie Cawelti of Heavener and Ruth Walker of Fillmore, Calif.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 14 at the First Baptist Church in Heavener. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
