Billy S. Lee, 69, of Wister, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2004 at Fort Smith, Ark. He was born Sept. 10, 1934 at Sardis. He was a retired roofer. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also loved reading.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Lee Bryan Lee; two sons, Johnny Fanning and Bryan Lee.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Kaye Elmore and Carrol Luman of Wister, and Brenna and Dail Smith of Flower Mound, Texas; one son, Brent Lee of Wister; his parents, William and Grace Lee of Oklahoma City; one sister, Eudene Bonham of Oklahoma City; two granddaughters, Crystal Elmore and Mandy Goforth; one grandson, Drew Smith; one great-grandson, Jayce Goforth; one niece, one nephew; one great-niece; two great-nephews; numerous other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15 at the First Baptist Church of Wister with the Rev. Don Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Maxey Cemetery at Wister under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Pallbearers will be Clint Harmon, Steve Bryan, Cecil Ray, Dail Smith, Freddie Harmon, David Donoley and Glen Midgley.
