Bessie Lee Humphreys of Talihina, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004. She was born Aug. 20, 1930 at Talihina to Ira and Lillie Mendenhall Humphreys.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harley Johnson; grandson, Darrell McIntosh; two sisters, Carmen Wilson and Blanch Rigney.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Harley Don and Barbara Johnson; two daughters and one son-in-law, Nancy and Terry McCann and Cynthia Ann Crenshaw, all of Talihina; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; six brothers, Fred Humphreys of Talihina, Damon Humphreys, Ike Humphreys and George Humphreys of Muse, J. T. Humphreys of Whitesboro and Patty Humphreys of Crowder; two sisters, Billie Ramsey of Talihina and Bonnie Williams of Whitesboro; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 22 at the Whitesboro Cemetery with the Rev. Carrol Fitzgerald officiating, under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home
