Gerald Carlyle Lang, 90, of
Poteau, Okla., passed away Monday, August 3.
2009. in Poteau.
He was born April 19, ,
l9l9. In James Town, New York.
He was a member of First
Assembly of God (Church in Poteau and a veteran
of World War II serving in the US Army. He was a
Metal Estimator.
Funeral services will be
held at 10:00 am. on Saturday, August 8, 2009,
at First Assembly of God Church in Poteau. under
the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home
of Poteau. Rev; Keith Williams officiating.
Burial in
Oakland Cemetery in Poteau.
He is survived by his son
and daughter-in-law. Kevin and Jean Lang, of
Spiro, Okla.; stepdaughter. Jesse
Milburn, of Shady Point,
Okla.; one grandson; two granddaughters; three
step-granddaughters; nine step-grandchildren;
two great-great-grandchildren; other relatives
and loved ones; a host of beloved friends.
He was preceded in death
by his wife, Leona on January 22, 2002.
Visitation will be Friday
evening at the funeral home from 6-8 pm.
