Donald Ben Smith, 68, of Panama, OK, passed away November 08, 2005, in Ft. Smith, AR. Donald was born February 1, 1937, in Poteau, Oklahoma, to Floyd T. Smith and Bennie Goff (O’Shields) Smith. Donald served in the United States Navy and was a factory worker, retired from Whirlpool Corporation. Donald married Joyce (Weaver) Smith on November 25, 1974, at Poteau.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Patricia Ellen Tull.

Donald is survived by his wife of the home; two sons Benny Floyd Perry of Panama, Richard Clinton Kirkendoll and wife Debra, of Poteau; four daughters, Hope Elaine Webb and husband, David, Faith Christine Blake and husband, Tom, all of Panama, Barbara Irene Pierce and husband, Jim of Missouri, Sylvia Joyce Martin and husband, Johnny, of Panama; one sister, Norma Helen Balster of Dallas, Texas; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many other love ones and friends. Pallbearers will be Benny Floyd Perry, Johnny Martin, Jr., Johnny Martin, III, Aaron Martin, Joshua Kirkendoll, Albert Perry.

Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 10, 2005, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel with Rev. Keith Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Panama, OK. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
