Bobby G. Shores, 71 years, 11 months, and 28 days, of Bokoshe, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, October 24, 2005, in Ft. Smith, AR. He was born in Milton, OK, on October 26, 1933, to Eddie and Dorothy (Phillips) Shores.

He married Bonnie Lindley on February 12, 1959, in Baird, Texas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a factory worker. He also served as the Mayor of Bokoshe for several years. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents.

Bobby is survived by his wife; three sons, Robby H. and wife Shirley, of Bokoshe, Stan and wife Serena, of Albany, CA, and Dustin of Dallas, TX; five grandchildren, Amanda, Angela, Camilla, Abegail and Isaac and two great-grandchildren, Conner and Nathaniel, and a host of friends and family. Pallbearers will be Joe Henderson, Jim Brewer, Ted Kilgore, and Tim Crow.

Services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 26, 2005, at Old Bokoshe Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Turner officiating. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau, OK
