Sandra (Cobb) Huens, 65, of Poteau, passed away Nov. 19, 2009 in Poteau. She was born Sept. 12, 1944 in Poteau. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy John Cobb; a grandchild, Margarete White; and her father, Wilburn Lee Jones.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Huens of the home; two daughters, Annette and Denver Turner of Poteau and Janet and John White of Waldron, Ark.; a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Lee and Laurie Cobb of Sandy Valley, Nev.; eight grandchildren, Missy Drake, Peggy Jurina, Lesley Palmore, Johnny Adkisson, Stephanie Adkisson, Jesse White, Elvis White, and Cassandra White; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, James R. Jones of Mammoth, Ariz.; her mother, Arma Lee Jones of Leflore; three step-children Kenton Huens, LaDonna Huens, and Misti Huens; four step-grandchildren, Bree Norris, Bryce Norris, Kaden Huens, and Autumn Norris; and numerous other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Missy Drake, Peggy Jurina, Lesley Palmore, Stephanie Adkisson, Cassandra Burgess White and Tammy White. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Adkisson, Jesse White and Elvis White.

Services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau. Reverend Jimmy D. Cook will be officiating. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
