Sherry Lynn Hornburger, 54, of Poteau died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, in Muskogee. Sherry was born June 1, 1958, in Nowata to Bill and Shirley (Spencer) Hornburger. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Smotherman ; and daughter, Takela Hornburger.

Survivors include her daughter, Brandy Hornburger of Poteau; father, Bill Hornburger of Stillwater; three brothers, Joe Hornburger of Valliant, Bill Hornburger of Poteau, Randy Hornburger of Norman; one sister, Shalle Marie Hornburger of Poteau; five grandchildren, Brian, Jeremy, Brandon, Alexa, Christopher; one aunt, Alice Fix of Tulsa; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with the Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

The family will visit with relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home., Evans & Miller Funeral Home.
