January 7, 2010, pg 6Elizabeth A. Heavener, 66, of Shady
Point, passed away Jan. 3, 2010 in Poteau. She was born March
30, 1943 in Booneville, Ark. She was a member of First Assembly
of God Church in Shady Point and a retail clerk.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Chantay and
Hoss Deleplank of Shady Point; a son, Roy Heavener of Shady
Point; four grandsons, Beau, Jason, Wyatt, and Spud; a
great-grandson, Nathion; two sisters, Betty Wade of Shady Point
and Merle Smith of Shady Point; a brother, Bob Anderson of
Owasso, Okla.; a special niece, Tammie Hetherington; special
friends at the Tote-a-Poke; and numerous other relatives,
friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Michael Jackson, Mark Jiminez, Rick Entmeier,
Donnie Williams, Robert Wright, and Matthew White.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at First Assembly of
God Church in Shady Point with Reverend Mike Bunch and Reverend
Joe Owen officiating. Interment will be at Shady Point Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral
Home, Poteau.
