Jerry L. Banning, 64, of Spiro, OK passed away December 1, 2005, in Fort Smith, AR. Jerry was born February 18, 1941, in Wister, OK to Charles and India Ruby (Brackett) Banning. He was a machine operator. Jerry married Caroline ( Hooper) on September 18, 1997 in Arkoma.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.

Jerry is survived by his wife and four sons , Brian Banning of Lavaca, AR, Chris Banning of Lavaca, AR, Robert Holbrook of Spiro, OK, Troy Holbrook of Spiro, OK; two daughters Sandra Saulsberry of Lavaca, AR, Tina Sanders of Lake Tenkiller, OK; two brothers, Wesley Charles Banning of Moore, OK and Roy Banning of Arkoma, OK; numerous grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many other love ones and friends.

Service will be Saturday, 10:30 AM, December 3, 2005, at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro with Rev. Victor Neve officiating. Services are under the direction of grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
