Daniel Payton Wilson is the husband of Mary Elizabeth (last name unknown) who was born 1845 in Marshall, Arkansas, she died in 1911 at age 66.
They were the parents of William Daniel Wilson & Roxie Wilson. And the grandparent's of
Cora Pearl (Wilson) Stogner.
Cora Pearl said that when Daniel Payton and Mary died they were in Arkansas and they brought them by train to Shady Point, LeFlore County, Oklahoma. The bodies arrived by train and were taken by wagon to be buried at
Tarby Prairie Cemetery, LeFlore County, Oklahoma. Tarby Prairie is an Indian cemetery. Both had Masonic and Eastern Star Monuments.
The Cemetery is no longer there.
