Celia Wilson, 84, of Spiro, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, in Pocola. She was born July 22, 1918 at Russellville, Ark. to Mark and Mary (Thompson) Roach. She was a homemaker, a member of the Christian faith, and loved to crochet, work puzzles and play with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Wilson; one son, Norman Wilson; one sister, Pearl Terry; and one brother, Emil Roach.
Survivors include three daughters, Charolette Wilson of Fort Smith, Marie Holleman of Gibsland, La. and Pat Spillers of Ruston, La.; two sons, J.C. Wilson of Fort Smith and Danny Wilson of Deleware, Ark.; seven grandchildren, which include Sheila Overstreet of Spiro; and 16 great-grandchildren, which include Haley and Hannah of Spiro.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 at Mallory Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Jeff Little officiating. Burial will follow in
Spiro City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home Chapel of Spiro.
