Jesse Ward

POTEAU — Jesse Molen Ward, 84, of Poteau died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, in Wister. He was retired from Frisco Railroad and the widower of Anna Mae Ward.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Nazarene in Poteau with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

He is survived by four daughters, Sue Oliver of Heavener, Sharon Henderson and Jeri Marler, both of Poteau and Crystal Fout of Shady Point; two sons, Tommy of Wister and Larry of Oklahoma City; one sister, Francis Peck of Texas; one brother, Woodson Ward of Maryland; 14 grandchildren, Stephen and Chris Ward, Jennifer Marler and Gary, Tobey, Shauna, Derrick and Diane Henderson, all of Poteau, Julie Holland of Fort Smith, Kevin Oliver of Heavener, Debbie Mednick of Nashville, Tenn., Colton Ward and Jamie Wire, both of Oklahoma City and Ariel Cardenas of Shady Point; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Al Garner, Jimmy King, Greg Holland, Charlie Breese and Joey and Jim Marsh.
