David H. Vincent, 43, of Poteau, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, in Fort Smith. He was born Aug. 2, 1958 in Poteau. He was an employee of Randco Tool and Mold. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing tennis. He was a marine mechanic at Plum Marine for a period of time.
Survivors include his wife Shanti Vincent of the home; one son, Kenneth Vincent of the home; his parents, Billy D. and Annie B. Vincent of Panama; one brother, Daniel Vincent of Broken Arrow; one uncle, Jacques Poirson of Montreal, Canada, one aunt, Wanda Norris of Bokoshe; numerous cousins, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.
Services were at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Poteau with the Father Joe Nguyen and Father Patrick Gaalaas officiating. Burial followed at
Old Bokoshe Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
Pallbearers were Steve Bryan, Steve Tullar, Joe Griner, Matt Stoughton, Terry Manlove, Vick Sharp, G.T. Brown and Philip Arter.
