Lonzo Vaughan is the son of Loranzo Dow & Elizabeth Vaughan. Lonzo was born June 26, 1877 in Conway, Pulaski County, Arkansas and died May 19, 1953, Poteau, LeFlore County, Oklahoma. 

Lonzo married, Hallie Jane Smith on November 07, 1905, in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas.

Hallie Jane is the daughter of Henry & Adeline (Ford) Smith. She was born July 24, 1888 in Russellville, Crawford County, Arkansas and died July 24, 1974 in Bakersfield, Kern County, California. 

Lonzo and Hallie Jane are buried in Shady Point Cemetery, LeFlore County, Oklahoma.

They are the parents of Lila Pearl, Lonnie May, Leura Ruth, and Bonnie.
