Ruby Elizabeth Traw, 95, of Poteau, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2002.
She was a seamstress, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Poteau and was a homemaker. She came to Oklahoma at the tender age of six weeks after having been born in Pulaski, Mo. She lived in LeFlore County all her life. She was a past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star and a second mother to her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her three brothers, Garth, Marvin and Joe.
Survivors include one sister, Daphne Plummer of Poteau; one sister-in-law, Cleo Traw; seven nieces and nephews; and other relatives and loved ones.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 27 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at
Wister City Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
