Robert Lee Storie
Robert Lee Storie, 59, of Wister, formerly of the Antlers area and the Tamaha area, passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2002 in Poteau. He was born Oct. 1, 1942 in Blythe, Calif. He was a pipe fitter/welder, an avid fisherman and hunter, enjoyed gardening and was an excellent cook. He will be greatly missed by his children, family and many friends for his never-ending sense of humor, generosity and kindness.
Survivors include his wife JoAnn of the home; his father, R.L. Storie; his mother and stepfather, Juanita and Adam Upchurch of the Antlers area; and six children.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 at Ellis Chapel in Wister with the Rev. Jack Covey officiating, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
