Elton Smith
POCOLA — Elton "Hoppy" Smith, 63, of Pocola died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, in a Fort Smith hospital.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two daughters, Patricia McAlpin of Cameron and Leslie Smith of Pocola; two sons, Elton G. Smith of Cameron and Kenny Smith of Poteau; one brother, Verlin of Dinuma, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
