Claryene "Renie" Martin Rowzee, 64, of Wister, passed away Monday, June 10, 2002. She was born July 4, 1937 in Wister. She taught school in Tucson, Ariz., was director of the Housing Authority in Wister and Heavener for the past 20 years, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wister and the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved her grandchildren dearly and supported them in all their activities.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Cory and Philip Hopcraft and Paula Sebo, all of Tulsa; one son and daughter-in-law, James Kyle (J.K.) and Margie Rowzee of Corpus Christi, Texas; two brothers, Robert (Buddy) Martin of Kimberly City, Mo. and Bockey Martin of Wister; two sisters, Billye Caudell and Ina Ruth Vaughn, both of Wister; eight grandchildren, Joshua Sebo, Jonathan Sebo, Samuel Sebo, Taylor Hopcraft, Erin Hopcraft, Colin Hopcraft, Kyle Hopcraft and Shyla Rowzee; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 13 to visit with relatives and friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 14 at First United Methodist Church of Wister with the Revs. Bob Thompson and James Ogden officiating. Burial will follow in
Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Wister under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Sebo, Jonathan Sebo, Samuel Sebo, Mark Caudell, Clay Caudell and Jon Martin Vaughn.
