Elizabeth Avis Pryor, 87, of Bokoshe, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003. She was born Jan. 26, 1915 at Greenwood, Ark. to Andrew Locklin and Jeanie (Rowley) Black. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul; and one son, Darrel.

Survivors include four daughters, Paula Hartsfield of Greenwood, Ella Newby of Sulphur, La., Deloris Woods of Cameron and Mitzi Craig of Mansfield, Ark.; three sons, Roy Pryor of Bokoshe, Gary Pryor of Lake Charles, La. and Edward Pryor of Morris; two sisters, Edna Wilkins of Fort Smith and Margaret Bates of Panama; one brother, Glen Black of Bokoshe; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members; and a host of beloved friends.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 at the Bokoshe Church of Christ with Mr. Joe Avery and Mr. Taylor Joyce officiating. Burial will follow in Old Bokoshe Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
