Jerry Paul Perry, 69, of Oklahoma City, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, in Tulsa. He was born June 14, 1933 at Oklahoma City to Orion L. and Bonnie Mary Allred Perry. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, retired after 33 years from GM, loved OU sports and attended the University of Oklahoma. He loved to box in the military and did some pro-circuit boxing judging.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Lyndell Perry.
Survivors include one daughter, Teri Jo Panther of Tulsa; three sons, Steven Perry of Edmond, Jerry Perry Jr. of Midwest City and Michael Jay Perry of Fort Sill; and four grandchildren, Lindsy Perry, Chase Panther, Lawton Perry and Brayden Garrett.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26 at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro with the Rev. Rodney Lee Mattox officiating, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro. A memorial service will be held at Vondel-South Chapel in Oklahoma City at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27.
