Clifford Payne
HEAVENER - Clifford "Don" Payne, 72, of Heavener died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, in his home. He retired from railroad construction, worked for Burnett Lumber Company and Tyson Foods and a member of Petros Baptist Church.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Maxey Cemetery in Wister under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
He is survived by his wife, Frances; two daughters, Marie and Tammy, both of Eakly, Okla.; five sons, Kevin of Spiro, Donnie of Summerfield, James, Joe and David, all of Eakly, Okla.; two sisters, Evelyn Poor of Weatherford, Okla., and Ruth Cozby of Eufaula, Okla.; 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
