Twila Parsons, 66, of Shady Point, passed away Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, in Poteau. She was born May 21, 1936 to Charles and Mary Eytcheson in Independence, Kan. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Shady Point.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Freddie Holman; and one brother, Gaylord Eytcheson.
Survivors include one daughter, Twila Marie Parsons of Coweta; one son, Gale Holman of Osawatomie, Kan.; one brother, Bill Eytcheson and wife Kathy of Booney Lake, Wash.; one sister, Charlotte Vanlaningham and husband Mike of Desmoines, Wash.; and a special friend Jim Parsons of Shady Point; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many beloved friends and family.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23 in Shady Point Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Owen officiating, under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
