HEAVENER — Burton Naylor, 64, of Heavener died Thursday, Oct. 12, in a Poteau hospital. He was retired from the Highway Department and was a pastor at Southern Baptist churches in the area and was a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 2 pm Monday in Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church in Reichert, Okla.. with burial at
Conser Cemetery near Heavener under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home in Poteau.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; one daughter, Karen Robertson of Heavener; one son, Randy of Heavener; two sisters, Juanita McAlester of Leflore, Okla., and Carolyn Sams of Clarksville; six brothers, Hershel, Roger, Bob, Jim and Clyde, all of Heavener, and Dwain of Tule Lake, Calif.; two grandchildren, Jason and Crystal Robertson; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Charles Shupert, Bud Barnes, Donald Allison, Jim Collins, Carl Lockhart and Marion Haynes.
