Lula Morton
MCCURTAIN - Lula Morton, 88, of McCurtain died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, in Fort Smith. She was born Dec. 3, 1913, in Indianapolis. She was a home missionary for 53 years on a Navajo Reservation in Oklahoma. She served in Wyoming, New Mexico and Arizona.
Funeral will be 3 pm today in Evans & Miller Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Poteau with burial at
Old Bokoshe Cemetery in Bokoshe.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Gifford of Springfield, Mo.; four sons, Charles Morton of Fort Myers, Fla., Melvin Morton of Indianapolis, Tim Morton of Oklahoma and Johnny Morton of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Mary Hester Washburn of Indianapolis; 27 grandchildren and (obit ends).
