Lucy Morgan, 87, formerly of Panama and Stigler, passed away Friday, July 5, 2002, in Fredericksburg, Va. She was born Jan. 9, 1915 to Henry and Berth Bohannon. She was a devoted Christian, loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Morgan; one son, Eugene Morgan; one daughter, Virginia Larva; four brothers, Farmer, Thomas, Davis and Floyd Bohannon; and two sisters, Bessie Colwell and Ada Ritter.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Levins of Fredericksburg, Judy Rogers of Beaverdam, Va. and Joyce Zahabi of Partlow, Va.; a sister, Emma Pruett of Citrus Heights, Calif.; two brothers, Elijah Dee Bohannon of Caney, Kan. and Benny Bohannon of Tulsa; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13 at Milton Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons, Kenny Levins, Justin Levins, Jeremy Pool, Ebi Zahabi, Robert Zahabi, Tyler Greenhalgh, Mike Wimbish, Danny Wimbish and Ryan Morgan.
